The two-child cap is one of the cruellest policies of the last decade. It must be lifted in full to bring thousands of children out of poverty and give families the support they deserve.

After leading years of campaigning with residents, I welcome Bradford Council’s action, but enough is enough. Waddingtons has failed to act. It must now shut down and move out.

It’s time for justice. A modest wealth tax on the super-rich would raise billions to rebuild services, tackle inequality and invest in our future. Those with the broadest shoulders must contribute their fair share.

I’ve secured £20m of long-term funding for Ravenscliffe - £2m each year for a decade. This investment is for the community. Have your say on how it’s spent to build stronger, safer and more vibrant neighbourhoods.

After years of campaigning with residents and local councillors, I welcome Bradford Council’s tougher action on Waddingtons. But Waddingtons had years to put this right and failed time and again. The best solution is clear: this site must close and relocate. Waddingtons must go.

After nearly two years of horror in Gaza, with tens of thousands killed, injured or displaced, today’s ceasefire offers a new hope after the darkest of times. It must be the first step towards lasting peace and justice for Palestine.

Waddingtons have had years to put things right. They must now close and relocate. I will keep pushing until that happens. 2/2

After years of campaigning with residents, we welcome Bradford Council’s stronger action on Waddingtons. But this is about more than a smell — it’s about people’s health and quality of life. 1/2

I welcome reports that the two-child cap may be abolished, but it cannot be partial. The cap must go in full to lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty.

Great to meet with the UK Mission to the UN to discuss the urgent need for action on the Rohingya crisis and justice for Palestine and Kashmir. We cannot turn away from displacement, persecution and occupation – the UK must use its voice to push for real solutions.

It was valuable to hear from @volker_turk at the UN on the Rohingya crisis and to meet with him afterwards. The world cannot look away while hundreds of thousands remain displaced and forgotten. We must act urgently to deliver justice and lasting solutions.

Attended the important UN High-Level Conference on the Rohingya crisis and to hear from the @ChiefAdviserGoB alongside fellow delegates. Justice, accountability and the safe return of the Rohingya must remain central to the international response. #RohingyaCrisis

Last week, I attended the UN High-Level Conference on the Rohingya crisis to raise awareness of this ongoing tragedy. We must keep global attention on the plight of the Rohingya & other minorities.

Appalled by this vile and horrific attack on a synagogue in Manchester, especially on Yom Kippur. My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones and all those affected.

I’m appalled by the attack at a synagogue in Crumpsall. The fact that this has taken place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, makes it all the more horrific. My thoughts are with the loved ones of all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency

While NHS staff in Bradford and across the country begged for safe PPE, the Tories handed £122m to a company linked to a Tory peer for 25m gowns that could never be used. VIP lanes, profiteering, and corruption - this was the last Tory Government’s legacy.

The cruel two-child cap has pushed 1.7m children into poverty. It must go. I welcome reports Rachel Reeves will act in the November Budget - but let’s be clear: anything less than full abolition will leave hundreds of thousands of children behind.
