At #PMQs, I asked the Prime Minister a simple question: Don’t Palestinian lives matter?. I demanded that the Government must act against the genocide: that means imposing widespread sanctions on Israel and ending all arms exports.

Lifting the two-child cap must be on the table. This cruel policy is pushing families in Bradford and beyond into poverty. It’s time to do the right thing and scrap it — without delay.

Grassroots boxing clubs offer structure, discipline and hope — steering young people away from crime and towards brighter futures. In Parliament, I asked the Justice Minister to back community clubs that make a real difference.

Great to be back at Whetley Middle School — where it all began. Lovely to catch up with old mates and teachers who helped shape my journey.

Pleased to open the Tahir Khan Restaurant on Leeds Road. Another brilliant addition to Bradford’s unbeatable curry scene. We’ve got the best food in the country… and I won’t hear otherwise!

Pleased to join the Yunus Emre Institute at Bradford Literature Festival for a powerful performance of Turkish music and culture. In Bradford, we know how art brings people together, celebrates our roots, and connects our communities.

Today in Bradford, I had the honour of speaking at the Srebrenica Memorial, remembering the 8,000 Bosniak men and boys murdered in the genocide. We must never forget where hatred leads. Remembrance brings responsibility - to act when it matters most.

In Parliament, I questioned the Transport Secretary directly: Bradford needs faster & better rail connectivity — and a new station to match. We can’t unlock growth without it. The time to deliver is now.

The PIP Bill, even after concessions, still includes devastating cuts — with disabled people set to lose over £3,000 a year. Bradford faces some of the worst health inequalities and poverty in the country. That’s why I voted against this Bill.

This PIP Bill is wrong in principle and in practice. It cuts £3,000 a year from 750,000 disabled people — a £2 billion blow to those most in need. I will not support it. I will vote against it.

The crux of this Bill hasn’t changed: it still balances the books on the backs of the vulnerable. It will deepen poverty across our communities — and that’s why I again called on the Government to withdraw it entirely. We need real reform that supports, not punishes.

Even with last-minute concessions, this Bill still includes £2 billion in cuts — slashing £3,000 a year from over 700,000 sick and disabled people. These are some of the most vulnerable in our society. Stripping away vital support isn’t reform, it’s injustice.

I joined colleagues in opposing these PIP cuts — because they will leave disabled people worse off. MPs are being asked to cut £3,000 a year from 750,000 sick and disabled people. That’s a £2 billion attack on those deemed too ill to work. I will not vote for it.

Halving the UC Health Element means slashing £3,000 a year from over 700,000 sick and disabled people — a £2bn cut that hits those already struggling. It’s wrong to balance the books this way. We need real consultation and a fairer plan that puts people first.

Forcing Palestinians into camps on the ruins of Rafah is a war crime. The UK must end all arms sales, impose widespread sanctions, and uphold its duties under international law. The time for words is long over, we need action now.
