While it's been a while since I've posted anything (regrettably), I did manage to gather 21,000 subscribers on YouTube recently. Thank you to all those who have subbed or shared the channel with people who love video games, particularly the old Japanese ones.

I uploaded a nice quality version of the Ape Escape "Saru! Get You!" dance from the McDonald's PS2 Happy Disc not too long ago. Filmed on location in New York City in 2001, it's poppy & fun. but seeing the WTC in some shots can make it a bit eerie.

Some close-ups. I've had some of these for years, but in the past few months a couple of sellers have been putting a lot up of cels for sale online. I tried to win a few, but the prices jumped far beyond my budget. Grateful that I could pick up the ones I did!

For years, I've been trying to get an animation cel from the original Crime Crackers, and recently, I was lucky enough to finally do that (center one). I even snagged a couple of new, quality CC2 ones for the growing collection. Now, maybe I can finally do a video on the game.

It's an A-Rank playthrough, but far from perfect--I mostly stuck to the jobs I was good at to maximize earnings, and I didn't end up buying the ultimate item, the grand piano. But worst of all. the cat ran away due to neglect. The shame!.

Jim 's been consistently making some really good videos on fun topics lately, it's definitely worth checking his channel out. He has always been a good friend, not just regarding the YouTube channel, but to me personally--I'd appreciate it if you help out & give his stuff a look.

We didn't get any good Goemon news from the recent Konami "Press Start" livestream, nor anything related to the 20th anniversary of the last Goemon title on the DS. At the very least, we ARE getting cool, new Goemon merch lately, including these soft vinyl figures, so, enjoy?

About a year ago, I was shocked to find this Perfect Blue figure at a local figure shop, part of the "cheap" Popup Parade line of figure for anime and game franchises. I purchased it immediately, even though it meant lugging it around several work-related drinking parties.

I just watched Perfect Blue for the first time in 20 years--an absolute classic that still holds up today, unsurprisingly. It's a movie I caught in my teens on HBO on a Saturday night at like 2 a.m. in the morning--I'll never forget that time & the impression it left on me.
