[4/5] On top of that, we showed how you could auto-fill your information with 1 click in your #UniMe app. No more endless repeating the same forms. No more typo's and a more pleasant user experience. The webshop can also validate the information, increasing trust in the purchase!

[3/5] In the Netherlands alone, hundreds of fake webshops have to be shutdown and thousands are scammed. With mutual authentication you always know you are in the real webshop. Its easy to fall for this scam as the Dutch @Politie showed last week:

[2/5] In our PoC users are able to login to @Decathlon using their EU Identity Wallet, without account or password. During this step, the webshop proves they are the real webshop, by showing their Chamber-of-Commerce registration, VAT-ID credential and @Thuiswinkelorg waarborg!

[3/3] We continue this topic in the upcoming FIDES "Digital Wallets in Action" Plugfest: "Trusted Webshops" track. We hope to connect with at least 5 more wallets to adopt this verification technique and support interoperability.
