I eventually got a tattoo of her favorite flower with an egg in the middle (the only tattoo of mine that my mom approved of lol). And now every Summer Solstice, I think of her balancing that egg. She was such a kind soul :).

When I was young, my grandma would bring me to the kitchen on every Summer Solstice to show she could balance an egg upright right at noon. I knew it wasn't real, but she loved to show me. and I loved seeing her so happy. She passed away on the Summer Solstice in 2018. (1/2).

It's wild to realize that it has already been 3 years since I moved to Chicago & began working at Netherrealm. I deeply miss my family/friends back home in Florida, but I'm beyond happy I took the leap and moved here. Here's to many more years working in the gaming industry🥂.

Actually an insane tourney run by OnlineCale. Also, as a fellow old head, seeing @OnlineTony_213 rush the stage to hug his son after the big win was one of the best things I've seen in my 14 years of being a part of the NRS scene. CEO was a really great watch all around.
