3/4 Foster carers already take on huge responsibilities, offering stable, safe, and loving homes. Asking them to pass a means test for basic school essentials is unfair and inappropriate.

Minister @daracalleary has announced that over 126,000 families will receive the Back-to-School Clothing and Footwear Allowance from today 1/4.

The @IfcaInfo has asked that foster carers be treated like carers when claiming their state pension. I look forward to working with IFCA to support foster carers. They play such a key role in the lives of children and provide a vital service to the state.
