Yesterday, my nephew Brayden completed the 8K of the Philadelphia Marathon in 42:59. That put him 21st out of 118 runners. UNACCEPTABLE! 😉 I’m damn proud of him. He wanted to finish under 50 mins and he crushed that goal. I was JUST behind him, struggling to keep up. #ifican

The story of the last time I hung out with Jane Goodall. ❤️ Every memory I have with Jane, her assistant, Susana, was there too. So, it was only fitting that we toast Jane over a glass of whiskey in a cheap plastic cup, after her memorial service in Washington DC, last night.🥃

For the last 3 years, I’ve been operating Case combines, but was back on a @JohnDeere a few days ago when I visited my friend’s farm and distillery (Whiskey Acres) in DeKalb, IL. I’m not saying that I love JD the best, but I’m not NOT saying that I love JD the best. 😉 #ifican

I’m speaking in Bucharest, Romania at the Parliamentary Building. It’s the 2nd largest administrative building in the world, build during the time of former Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu. I took the opportunity to wear my hometown Nanton Palomino‘s hockey jersey. #ifican

That’s a wrap for #Harvest2025… for me. A little over 250 hours on the combine in just over a month… now it’s time to hit the road for presentations around Canada, United States and Romania throughout the month of October. #ifican

During this year’s harvest, all 5 of my nephews and nieces were out on the combine with me at some point. That right there, is why I take time off from being on the road doing presentations, to be home farming. #ifican

Teaching the kids that rocks and limbs do not belong inside the combine header. I didn’t lose my limbs in a farm accident, I was born this way, but if it helps promote farm safety and awareness, I’m all for it. 😉 #ifican

My favourite part of farming is, without a doubt, having my nephews and nieces come out and ride around on the combines and tractors and eventually teaching them how to operate the farm equipment. Just like my grandpa did many many many MANY years ago. 😉😊 #ifican

Today I did a presentation for all the Arashi-Do Martial Arts dojo/school owners and instructors from across Alberta. I figured I’d put Chris Bonde to the test and see just how accurate and good he is. Thankfully, he nailed it on the first try. 😉 #ifican

Thanks to my cousin Tarah and her fella, Mark, the world can know exactly how hard I work when I’m farming. hahaha In my defense, we were waiting for the wheat we were harvesting to be dry enough to combine. I’m also kind of an ugly sleeper, as you can see. 😂 #ifican

Uncles without arms and legs are easier to climb all over. They make great jungle-gyms. Every family should have an amputee for their kids to play with, just like Rudy does. 😉 #ifican

Harvest 2025 was a little later getting here but I’m back in the combine and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely LOVE being on the farm and my level of happiness increases exponentially when I’m out in the field. Here’s to a great harvest!!! 🍻 #ifican Blue Jays/Mets WS!! ⚾��🤞🏻
