Happy Feature Friday! Joel enjoys staying active, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt instructor and has trained and coached numerous disciplines to include Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing), etc.

Dr. Caroline “Smitty” Faure is a Professor in the HPSS Department. When she’s not teaching, you will probably find Smitty in her “happy place,” which is in a swimming pool. She’s known to get up super early and hit the pool for 3,000-4,000 yards every morning!
