If the schools in my community—private and public, primary, secondary, and tertiary—were running optimally, poverty here would drop by at least 50%. In fact, I can say without hesitation that much of the poverty in my area is directly connected to the collapse of these schools—

Bukhari and Muslim only aggregated scattered knowledge that were in existence prior. They didn’t bring anything new—how their parents prayed is immaterial to the genuineness of the Hadiths they gathered on prayers. [Note that I can’t actually comprehend the quoted tweet].
Muslims were performing Salat for centuries before Bukhari and Muslim were born. How did Bukhari and Muslim's parents perform Salat before Bukhari and Muslim were born then?

Dropping the trumped up charges against the detainees would’ve been more profitable than this movie-like arrest on the flimsy basis that — ‘it’s unfair to arrest others and not arrest Sowore’. Bottom line is, staged or not these arrests are legally unfounded and unjustifiable.

S.152 of the penal code isn’t intended to cover matters of alleged ‘disobedience of order’. The route is either a civil or at worst, a criminal contempt—not one of police investigation and prosecution. Enforcement lies solely with the issuing court through contempt proceedings.

It is not every man who can defend himself, but the one who can, is probably best fit to defend himself.

A lawyer (or any other citizen of good standing really) with a known practice and address, should not see prison on allegations of contempt—or other ‘civic offences’—without a fair hearing compliant trial process undertaken and completed. Premature detention is just show.

Preferring detention over self recognizance in misdemeanor allegations is mischievous use of the judicial machine to punish, before a proper, proof of evidence based charge is leveled—if it’s ever. Nothing in the conduct alleged should see Kuje prisons involved this early.

It’s funny how they claim to be clamping down on protests, when in truth, they’re merely aiding it by literally shutting down civil life. Even their own workers, the civil servants, can’t have productive days because they’ve cordoned off the roads. What an irony!

Let it be clear, we’ll always support the exercise of democratic rights—the duty of ensuring protests don’t affect public life is strictly on law enforcement, and any failure in that regard is their failure—wholly and squarely!
4 matters today, but thanks to Sowore and the inept Nigerian law enforcement gang—we can’t have access to the court. I’m legit tired of this nonsense tbh; this is aside the fact that My Lords in Court 11 FHC, and the FCT HC Kubwa, the other two, have gone on a so-called workshop.

EXPOSED!!! Dear Governor @daudalawal_ We visited Unguwar Danbaba MPS, Gusau Sinami, Mayana Ward, Zamfara State, and the learning condition is deeply disturbing. Pupils were forced to sit on bare floors during lessons, a reality that starkly contradicts the state government’s
