Building in public:.- Today, I designed the contact page of the sports website I am working on. - Built the form functionality, using Resend to enable users to send messages/feedback/complaints to the company. #buildinginpublic

Today:.- I implemented the search feature to search for posts based on keywords in the title and also by tags, using drizzle ORM,.- I added skeleton loaders to be used as placeholders before the data is rendered to the page using Vercel's shadcn skeletons. #buildinpublic

Today:.- I added the views functionality to each post, views should increase after 20s on the page (challenging).- Added the "URL copy to clipboard" functionality to enable post sharing. - Also built the tags page, where users can view all posts related to the tag they clicked.

Next functionality.- Views.- Ability to share post.- Tags (Getting all post related to the tag clicked on a post).

Challenges faced:.- It was hard implementing proper pagination, had to go true drizzle docs (used drizzle to connect to DB), to implement proper pagination using drizzle's "offset" and "limit".- PC crashed (Blue screen of death), had to borrow bro's PC to continue, thanks to Git.

Still on this,.- Created the news page, added pagination, and filtering by categories. - Created a dynamic route, to view each post, fetching articles related to the posts, and also displaying the article content as written with the TipTap editor.

I completed the homepage of the website, I faced some challenges - CSS to be specific, grid layout was trying to disgrace my but i pulled through, took some inspiration from other football website as well.
