The Māturīdīs hold that the servant does not create actions. The servant only directs the will (ṣarf al-ʿabd), while Allah creates the act itself. Thus Allah is the Creator & man is still responsible. This is irāda juzīya tahta irāda kullīya. Know well what is “al-lā-mawjūdah”.
