Best pre-season performance so far… A lot more competitive, some decent flashes of attacking play. Get Branthwaite back fit, upgrade the right-side, along with an addition or two in midfield, I feel we have the basis for a strong core group. A few loans to fill out the squad.

Sluggish start from Everton. Lucky not to concede early on. Got themselves back into it thanks to some neat counter-attacking play and poor West Ham defending. Less said about the goalkeeping blunder the better. This side is far more dangerous when forcing a counter-attack.
