35yrs after I last saw them, Martin Stephenson & The Daintees at Bristol Thekla on Sunday night were just as wonderful as ever. MS is the very definition of “undervalued songwriting genius”. Not only that, hes a warm, gifted & hilarious raconteur. A beautiful evening all round ❤️

The more I play this LP the better it gets. A real contender for my album of the year. Seeing them live has only enhanced my feelings about it as having met them I can confirm they are a genuinely lovely bunch of gents. Borderlands by @thisisthemilk British soul at its very best
