Islamophobia and other forms of hatred and racism have had deadly consequences in our country. Those who traffic in such hatred, again and again, have to be held accountable for their actions.

White supremacist logic motivated the ethnic cleansing of indigenous people + enslaving Africans on this continent; it formulated the crux of the western capitalist project. It's the underlying rationale through which America's violence still operates + extends across the world.

NATO as an arm of the American imperial apparatus is inherently white supremacist. So obviously they'd back neo-Nazis. America's need for expansionism is borne out of it's own settler colonial past- rooted in securing the economic, social and cultural dominance of whiteness.

Malcolm's philosophy of self-determination was a form of self love. He taught us that we cannot live life appeasing or conforming to our oppressors for the sake of acceptance; we must always command the respect and dignity that we deserve as human beings, for ourselves.
