Sad news. Bill Self Sr, father of Kansas head coach Bill Self Jr, former #OKPreps coach, school administrator and OSSAA Executive Director (1991-96) has passed. Self coached a Girls State Championship in 1966 with Morris (see article below). He was 82.

Interesting stat from the CLASS 4A BOYS STATE TOURNEY... Kingfisher ALLOWED 109 total points in their 3 games (38, 32, 39). That is the least amount of points allowed in ANY state tournament by not only a CLASS 4A team but 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A. EVER. #okpreps
