As I said, a stadium ban is chicken feed. It’s not a football problem, it’s a society problem. Hate crimes should be dealt with criminally (and ofc they should never set foot in Anfield again). Glad it’s been dealt with as well as possible. Not one of our own.

Genuinely impeccable during the minute's silence, had a banner for Diogo, clapped during his song, good hearted craic throughout the game, no tragedy chanting, no poverty chanting, just a group who travelled the length of the country on a Friday night to watch their team. Clapped.
The Bournemouth lot are truly a wonderful bunch, glad we got the last laugh though.

The racism yesterday was disgraceful, but like Salford vs York earlier this year in preseason - the league, the clubs, the police, have all dealt with it inch perfectly. You can't stamp these things out from football, because they exist in society. You can only do all you can to.

Mo Salah stood in front of the Kop and burst into tears after that game. Every player new and old's first thought after scoring was paying tribute to Diogo. Stop analysing every detail of this team and every individual performance, just be glad we won and had a wonderful tribute.
