FTI-UM and LMCI recently held an Estimating Essentials course. It was a 2-day class designed for the “apprentice” estimator. It covered contracts and bid documents, takeoffs, direct/indirect costs, and more. Day 2 was hands-on blueprint estimating and working up a bid. 1/2

Remember: All workers need somewhere to turn if they're being taken advantage of by an employer. Whether that's stolen wages, lack of safety, or anything illegal, talk to a union. Talk to us.

Job Corps is under attack. Federal funding cuts are threatening to shut down vital Job Corps centers, including the one right here in St. Paul. This program gives low-income youth the tools they need to escape poverty, build financial stability, and create generational wealth.
