At its core, it’s a show about social dynamics and interpersonal relationships. The crux of the show is simple: failure to adapt to the group will result in expulsion. Sometimes it’s funny to see people get kicked out, other times it’s sad.
Now am I describing Survivor or ITYSL?
@AMikeBloomType
At his watch party we were all just staring at him trying to read his face for any kind of hint at what was about to happen, dude was mean mugging through the whole thing until the very end when the celebration kicked off
I got a Cameo from Coach as a wedding gift and in the Cameo he talked about his sex life with his wife and referred to it as “en fuego” but warned me that isn’t a guarantee for everyone
@AMikeBloomType
Jeff just casually dropping that “you can ALWAYS trade for a previous reward” - pull my goatee and call me Dan Foley because I am GALLED at his AUDACITY
We did it folks, the most niche gimmick account of all time got a mention on RHAP!
Next step: Get Rob and Chappell to watch I Think You Should Leave for Nothing But Netflix
Final step: TABLES!
@stephenfishbach
The producers don’t trust the players to pull off big tricks anymore (ie Erik blindside in Micronesia) so now the producers have to trick the players themselves
And just passed 600 followers lol
Ya know, I run a small Survivor game in Boston, which is a project I pour 100s of hours into, and yet my biggest contribution to the Survivor community is this dumb little account???
Survivor: Borneo Jeff: Who are you?
Survivor 43 Jeff: I’m the Ghost of Survivor WAY Future! I’m from the year 2022. Advantages and gimmicks have enslaved the franchise, and we need your help!
Do you think any of the players were like “Jeff isn’t this the challenge that killed Russell Swan” and Jeff was like “shut the fuck up, you fucking skunk”

50 trying to navigate Beware Advantages, Knowledge is Power, Choose Your Champion (he’d choose himself), and whatever other new advantages we see by then 😵💫
@BitterJurorsPod
The big boost of publicity for this season is so fascinating, wonder if it’s tied to the ongoing 90 minute episodes, maybe CBS now sees this as a show worth investing more into (or maybe it’s tied to not having other shows due to the strike)
Jeff Probst spent 4 seasons pretending to be nice, only to go up to Jake at the end of the challenge and rub his nose in it for missing a single puzzle piece hahahaha what was that
@AMikeBloomType
This, to me, is a great indicator that the producers can start dialing back the advantages - the players can pull off crazy maneuvers with actually having any advantages, just the threat is enough.
Like Old Man Crowley said, if they think you have a gun…
