And just had a text from the @ee repair centre saying the phone is being returned to me. Unfixed of course. Looking forward to shooting a Youtube video showing the defect to expose their utter incompetence. If Engineers in my team behaved this way they'd be looking for work.

Having the most frustrating time with @EE. They have my phone for repair (no cable remains seated in the device) and in 2 days they can't find a fault. 2 calls now where they've tried to tell me that their 'trained' testers can't replicate an issue though my 8 year old managed.

In order to be a great modern tester having great testing skills is just the foundation, we need to be focused on delivering a great product. This requires product management, uiux, technical and data science knowledge.

High energy session on Friday from @Agile_Bert on the #agileprinciples. Wondered how a sometimes cynical team would react to going back to basics and was pleased at the positive and engaged response. Always worth going back to the fundamentals and having some discussion.

Am I the only person who dislikes subscription services as a business model? It feels intrinsically dishonest to run a model that benefits heavy users at the expense of those that pay but don't use it. But it means easy-to-forecast revenues and free income. 🤨
