These projects include solo exhibitions with Dianna Frid and Brittany Nelson, curated by the grant PI, Kendra Paitz (director and chief curator); a group exhibition co-curated by Paitz and artist Bethany Collins; and a new screening series featuring multiple artists.

Robert Quinlan, M.F.A. ’09, the new artistic director of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival has chosen three of his personal favorites for the 2025 season: William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet, and The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

The annual summer outdoor concert series Concerts on the Quad at Illinois State University returns beginning Monday, July 7. Performances take place at 7 p.m. in front of Cook Hall. All concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating.
