ISL are expanding with an intake of 20 Scaffolding Apprentices, most being 16 year old school leavers. With @wahsafety they have completed a week long induction course, and shortly commence courses on the @CISRS apprentice scaffolder scheme @NASCscaffolding #ItHasToBeNASC

ISL have recently completed two temporary roof scaffolds for VEST Construction on @durham_uni’s Palace Green Library. The design was coordinated with @RDGEngineering, with a fixed 30m span mono pitch roof, with sheeting terminated mid span, and a mobile 14m span duo pitch roof.

Ending another busy week with receipt of our renewed @NASCscaffolding membership certificate, following a desktop information audit and on-site yard and site inspections.

Our @Layheruk Allround scaffold at Heaton Park Court in Newcastle is now ready for full hand over to RE:GEN Group. Special ‘aircraft’ standards allow for lifts at the 12 floor levels, with a staircase to match using 1m and 1.5m high flights in a double bay arrangement.

Off to Donington Park for a weekend of trucks 😁 Not an outfit you’ll see in practical use, but the ultimate example of @ISL_Scaffolding’s transport capabilities. How do you want your pallets delivering @thinkdefence - hooklift, @Hiabglobal crane or @GroupManitou telehandler ?

When you’ve broken the big crane 🤦‍♂️ it’s time to bring out the little crane - @GroupManitou TMT to the rescue.

Saturday morning lifting job, getting tube, fittings and beams up ready for the scaffolders to continue work on Monday. It’s the first time the Hiab winch has been used on site, and provided the perfect opportunity for operator practice prior to some regular jobs coming up.

Going cross country with our @GroupManitou Truck Mounted Telehandler ! Access for our Hiab crane was blocked by parked cars so the Manitou was used for an hour, saving a day for the scaffolders carrying materials around to the rear of the building.
