Time to reveal the LTO from 6 months ago: gymcall. com 2 days after completion, another LTO sale came today. Again, after changing to Atom nameservers and pay higher commission. Last 3 consecutive sales on Afternic were LTO-as someone mentioned recently, this is a bit weird.
Sold a Gym related name $2988 on 6 Monthly instalments. Had just had the name servers pointed away from Afternic so was hit with 25% commission..

How does Afternic Fast Transfer actually work? When I first started buying domains, the Fast Transfer process seemed a bit magical, like something that @GoDaddy must have conjured behind closed doors at an ICANN convention in Prague circa 1998. In reality, GoDaddy only purchased

Sold: daopac. com few days ago through AN network. This is the 3rd name in a row being purchased directly from NameCheap, regardless of nameservers pointing to Dan or AN. Had these domains been advertised at NameCheap directly, commission would have been much lower.

The thing I like about domaining is that you can make it work in so many ways. Think of it is lego blocks. You can mix and match different blocks to create your own little business model but you can't randomly join some blocks and expect to build a nice model

My plea to @Afternic to reconsider their decision to abandon Afternic search (in reply to their data that only a small percentage of sales are from their search).
@afternic @MexicanGreek Would not that have been an argument to improve search rather than to totally throw it out? Think what your competitors do. If a buyer goes to HD, BD, DM, SH, BB, BP, Sedo, Dan, etc. can they browse domains to make a shortlist to consider? Yes! Please, please reconsider!

@afternic Whoever made this decision to put this search behind a paywall should be fired! Not allowing this to buyers is a sin and a big slap in the face to sellers.
