Awards: For the 2025 competition, EnviBayes anticipates awarding up to 3 awards. Winners will receive a monetary award, a travel grant to present at our next EnviBayes conference, and will be invited to present their paper during an EnviBayes event.

Eligibility: The applicant must be: 1) the first author of the paper; 2) currently a student  or have graduated after January 1, 2025; 3) submitting a paper that is unpublished or currently under review; - a member of ISBA and EnviBayes.

Papers considered for this competition should present the development of new Bayesian methodology to address problems in environmental sciences and/or the application of existing Bayesian statistical methods for the analysis of environmental data.

The EnviBayes section of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) is pleased to announce its student paper competition. Deadline: The application deadline is January 15, 2025. All materials must be submitted by email to: cberrett@stat.byu.edu.
