So true! We have spent $10ks on these applications and addressed every criticism multiple times, built strong teams, created great environments etc. to get small business grants. There is no real criteria, it’s basically a personal decision if they like the idea or not @IRkumar5
NIH grant distributions have turned into a joke, but the most ridiculous part is that *70%* of the federal funds often granted to these universities goes to fund their “overhead” slush funds which subsidizes DEI & related nonsense, NOT to actual scientific grant recipients. When
