💄 It can be difficult to spot fake beauty products as criminals go to extreme lengths to mimic the real thing. Latest @WhichUK test purchasing found that at least two third of cosmetics bough on online marketplaces could be counterfeit, potentially containing harmful chemicals.

🐾 Last week @CityPolicePIPCU seized over 20,000 fake dog toys, leads and supplements. Fake toys can break and become choking hazards, and leads lack the strength to keep dogs secure. Supplements can contain toxic ingredients such as insecticides.

A man who made £1 million by running three illegal streaming websites has been sentenced to three years and one month in prison. Stephen Woodward, 36, of Front Street, Thirsk, will now be subject to confiscation proceedings. Read more here:
