#Lucky Shot! I've chased #fireflies in my yard for days. W/ the camera held in front, I ran behind an airborne #firefly, & clicked the shutter whenit seemed they were in focus. After many failures (kudos to zero depth perception), I got one that is close to being in good focus!

Over 1,000 volunteers fanned out across Illinois for the 53rd Spring Bird Count last weekend, covering nearly all 102 counties! π¦ Launched in 1972, SBC is now coordinated by @INHSillinois, with data used to track bird populations and published each fall.
