This Spring, Inglis House was fortunate to have a performance by a swing choir from Buffalo New York. Residents and staff from Inglis House were truly captivated by their performance of Broadway tunes and worship songs.

We will continue to share information with our residents, their families, staff, & others as it becomes available. Inglis House will not be closing its doors, and Inglis will continue to provide quality housing and supports to those we serve across Pennsylvania and beyond. (6/6).

We believe this decision offers Inglis the best path forward to sustaining our mission, ensuring that Inglis House residents can remain in their home and continue to receive extraordinary quality-of-life programming, & preserving as many jobs as possible. (5/6).

Additionally, we are licensing the name “Inglis House” to the new operator to pay tribute to our legacy & to support their continued service of the population this facility serves now. The facility will be known as “Enlive Rehabilitation and Wellness at Inglis House.” (4/6).

After much consideration of our options for sustainability, we have reached an agreement to sell the Inglis House campus, including the Morris-Klein Apartments, to Tryko Partners and its healthcare management affiliate, Marquis Healthcare Consulting Services. (3/6).

As we have evolved through the years, so too have the financial pressures affecting the operation of the organization, particularly Inglis House. (2/6).

For nearly 150 years, we have been committed to our mission to enable people with disabilities and those who care for them to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. (1/6)

Residents and staff at Inglis House celebrated #DisabilityPride with activities throughout the building, and a parade in the courtyard.

Participants of Connections, Inglis' Day Program, have been enjoying learning and creating with teaching artists from Claymobile. This program was made possible by a grant from the National MS Society.

The 2022 Inglis Music Fest brought sunshine, music, and joy with three performances by Montoj, The Tea Club, and Wheelz, the Inglis House Resident Rock Band. Musicians sang their hearts out as crowds clapped and danced along.

Karen Garnett, resident of Inglis House, has been working diligently with Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy focusing on communication. Now Karen can control her TV, listen to bible verses, request her favorite foods, and tell her husband, David, how much she loves him.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day, also known as #GAAD, works to promote digital accessibility, access, and inclusion worldwide. GAAD defines digital accessibility as the need for top-quality digital experiences for all internet users, regardless of an individual’s disabilities.

The focus of Inglis’ Wellness & Rehab is to maximize each resident’s level of independence. Each person has different goals & Therapy helps them achieve them. For Joan, that means working with Occupational Therapy to learn how to use a switch for her phone so she can FaceTime.
