Today @deZavalaMS science teams were up for the STEM challenge!! They did SO WELL!!

Wow! We had such a great day with @deZavalaMS SS teachers during STEM PLC! Teachers dispelled myths 🙅🏽🙅‍♀️, engineered a rescue device for a masked bandit 🦝, and familiarized themselves with upcoming STEM lessons 📖 !

A HUGE shout-out to the @deZavalaMS RLA team for their time and participation in today’s STEM PLC! Teams evaluated the skills ✅ they wanted their sts to gain from their courses, learned how to teach with a STEM lens 👓 , and played a round of STEM Myth I Have, Who Has 🙋‍♂️ 🙋🏽‍♀️!

We LOVED 🥰 getting to lead the @BartonBuff staff in a STEM kick-off PL! Teams -Explored elements of a STEM school 🏫 -Unlocked common STEM myths⛓️‍💥 -Engaged in a STEM design challenge that combined engineering 🏗️, writing ✍️ , and math 🧮 Thanks @MsLValdez and teams!

Sts are making holiday themed videogames in @MSMakeCode Arcade and they pulled out their sheet music from band class to help score the game! 🤯 @Crockett_MS @iisdCTE @IrvingISD

In our @Lamar_MS Tech Lab, one of #ourkids demoed the game he created for the class. It was awesome! The extra creativity to spell out his name in blocks on the final level was a fun Easter egg!

These boys are staying after school throughout the week to practice and prototype for their Drone UAV competition. They are currently building obstacles to spec akin to what they will have to navigate through during their relay. @IISD_iLearn @iisdCTE
