Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is a lore-heavy, thinly plotted sequel that will mostly satisfy hardcore fans who love to extrapolate. The practical animatronics from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop are spectacular, but beyond that spectacle the film often feels rushed and hollow.
