As a strong advocate for drug decriminalisation, UM's @iqamsalleh highlighted that decriminalisation ≠ legalisation. Decriminalisation, she said, prioritises human dignity & health by recognising that substance use is a complex health & social issue - not a criminal one.

After almost 20 y in prison for drug smuggling in #Indonesia, the new govt agreed to the remaining 5 of the 'Bali Nine' (2 were executed, 1 died in prison and another was already released) to return to #Australia on humanitarian grounds.
