“She would have to sacrifice Jinora” 😐😐😐. Her being unwilling to sacrifice Jinora or any of the people close to her, even to her own detriment, is literally what *makes* her a hero.
Alright KORRA time. First off. The reason why Korra is a terrible Avatar is because she doesn't understand stuff and walks in constantly headstrong that she can win. She's not really a hero in that way she's often the mechanism for the problem being there in the first place. But

I wanna apologize to Azula glazers I was not familiar with your burden 😔.
Katara was THEE prodigy- NOT Azula!. Azula came from gens of Firelords, the best teachers, etc. And still- Katara (basically entirely self-taught) almost rocked her shit in the caves before Zuko stepped in. Katara is the prodigy some of y'all think Azula was.

Okay we need to wrap up these uninformed reductionist takes on this show cause
Hama and Jet being villainized but Iroh and Zuko getting redemption arcs will never sit right with me. Iroh/Zuko objectively caused way more harm than the other two but the (white and ignorant) creators needed to make the fire nation sympathetic they chose to villainize victims.

“Marvel does not” like one of its best solo films isn’t literally Captain America exposing corruption in the government bottom to top and instead of trying to salvage the organization that allows it to thrive, destroys it all.
Superhero movies CAN be good movies that make important statements about our humanity and politics. Marvel does not. Marvel just cares for money, hence doesn't make ANY important statements that could upset nazis, and instead feeds into these fascist power fantasies.
