We combed through @LAUSDSup’s #CommunityBasedSafety Plan and found it FAILED to achieve most of the stated goals of the Board’s original resolution. Our students deserve straight-A safety implementation, NOT FAILURE. #PoliceFreeLAUSD

.@LAUSDSUp told students & staff about there being no cuts, then cut school budgets, making it harder to pay for mental health staff that keep our schools safer. Shortly after, he tried to station cops back on campuses. #CommunityBasedSafety does not mean police in schools!

Hey @LAUSDSup, why are you deploying police at our schools and calling them ‘wraparound’ supports? Why are you reversing the policy passed by the LAUSD board to have cops stationed off LAUSD schools? #PoliceFreeLAUSD #FundCounselorsNotCops
