Wanun: Solutions on the ground are not about the money at all. They're about caring for each other, for the communities, ecosystems, & the planet. To the previous Q, there must be a platform to bring in the voices of communities & create spaces for them to speak.

Carolina: We need to know that they are there. To scale them, we need to visibilize them. We need a platform to put what is already been done in our countries, including the successes and the points for improvement.

Ivan: Negotiations have been so opaque. The last nego have not made any actionable outcome. We deem these measures (like CBAM) as deeply unjust because they impose the responsibility on the global South. The global North is skirting responsibility to provide finance. .

Wanun: An example is agroecology that small farmers are practicing. It protects the soil and reduces dependency on big industry farming practices that harm communities and drive climate change. Another is seed conservation led by women in communities.

Wanun: Real solutions will not come from the market or from corporations. They come from the ground-women, fisherfolks, farmers. They are rooted in care and in justice and challenge colonialism and capitalism. It must redistribute power not just reduce emissions.

Carolina: To talk abt real solutions is to talk about climate justice, people-powered decision-making. We as civil society can engage and articulate and have our concerns addressed in spaces such as the Peoples' Summit at COP30 that involve CSOs in the process.

Beyrra: Community-led renewable energy works but communities need resources, training, decision-making power. The tech for renewables that we need in the South is not the same in the North. We must not push for energy extractivism that borrows the logic of fossil fuels.

Ivan: We have not seen much convergence bw trade and climate justice discussions. It's very important that we have convergence as mvmts. We must support the fight of comrades against FTAs and ISDS clauses that hinder countries from meeting their climate goals.
