Unai emery is the epitome of “if we blame others, we will never improve” and thats why hes a winner and I have full confidence and belief in him that we can lift some sort of silverware this season. Proper gaffer🙌.

Bang on. You played some very good stuff tonight and easy to see how you’ve been on that run. Too many people/players/managers focus on ref/var when they’ve lost but not the individual mistakes players have made. You have to look at yourself first? I like emery. UTB!

Exactly this, the game has given rise to the fact that we need to improve against teams who utilise the low block and im sure thats what he wants to improve from our game, crying about sheffield utd and VAR and thinking we got hard done by does sod all in the long run

So cool, he’s spot on! Really enjoyed the game less so the result, we switched off got punished but then came back. McGinn not in his best position, creative defenders out I thought the squad compensated well

and have to say that he is doing incredibly well for Villa. He "gets" the club and plays a style of football that the fans appreciate. Win lose or draw, the commitment is there and his respect for other sides is also there in his interviews.

He is - as always - respectful and absolutely right. Was it the right decision? No. Then he explains articulately and accurately how they got it so wrong. Doesn’t even speak of the penalties because those calls happen.
