Tertia opted for a J Pouch in 2008. Tertia told us, "There has been so much body positivity surrounding ileostomies recently. so with the knowledge I now have, I don’t think I would opt for J-pouch surgery.” . #ToPouchOrNotToPouch #IPAM #InternalPouchAwarenessMonth

Maggie Butler and Kate Pine attended the Kangaroo Club Information Day in Oxford and they had a fantastic time. Their IA stand was a hit, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow pouches. A big thank you to the organisers for inviting them. #InternalPouch #SafeWithIA.

It appears there are a lot of illnesses doing the rounds again. Our resident dietitian, Sophie Medlin, advises those who have an internal pouch to try a liquid powder probiotic as delayed-release capsules may not be so effective. #SafeWithIA
