The 14th IALA General Assembly was held on the last day of the Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Delegates were able to follow the approval of the Standards, the MBS, the Strategic Vision and the election of the Council members for the period 2023-2027.

The World-Wide Academy Pre-Conference Seminar on Digital Future – Digital skills was held on Sunday 28th May, aiming to discuss the current state of marine aids to navigation training and capacity building efforts and some of the skills needed to address the challenges ahead.

The 2-day Heritage Seminar held in beautiful Rio de Janeiro was a success, with enlightening presentations and a high number of participants reaching 94 delegates. It was great to see so many people interested in Heritage! 🤩
