We didn’t sell millions. We didn’t go free-to-play or add in-game microtransactions. But we launched the game my friends and I dreamed of as kids. - 40,000 copies sold in just 3 days.- Ranked the 5th best-selling new release in the US. Thank you, PlayStation players! 💙

Local co-op isn’t dead. You just forgot how it feels to sit next to someone, laugh until you cry, and share a screen. Some of the best memories in gaming didn’t need an internet connection. That’s the kind of magic we’re keeping alive. If it means fewer sales, so be it.

To see Hypercharge up there alongside games like Doom, Elden Ring, and F1. it’s surreal. We’re just five friends who made the game we always dreamed of as kids. This isn’t just a chart position. It represents years of passion, struggle, and staying true to what we believe in.

I don’t even know what to say. Hypercharge is currently the #6 best-selling new game on the PlayStation Store. For a small team like ours, this means the world. Thank you so much for believing in us, and in the kind of games we still believe in making.

Btw, I mentioned those games because their success is genuinely incredible. It wasn’t a dig at all. I just wanted to share that success means different things. Hypercharge gets compared to huge AAA titles a lot, player count, etc, but not selling millions doesn’t mean we failed.

We made the game we always wanted as kids. And we did it. That’s our success.

And just to be clear, we’re not lazy. We’ve worked incredibly hard to bring Hypercharge to every major console, all by ourselves. No publisher. No funding. Just a small team doing everything we can because people asked us to. We did it for the fans. And we’re proud of that.

Maybe there aren’t thousands of players online. But somewhere, someone’s on the couch with their kid, playing split-screen, laughing, figuring things out together, side by side. If that’s all Hypercharge ever is… that’s enough for us. Not every game is meant to be online-only.
