My local mosque is blessed to have Sheikh Mustafa Roshdy leading taraweeh this year. From Al-Azhar al-Sharif, one of the oldest and most prestigious masjids in the world, Masha’Allah. Probably one of the most beautiful and unique qaris I’ve been lucky to be in attendance of.

I noticed when you pray behind someone whose recitation is heartfelt, they could recite for an hour and it would still feel short.

A simple yet beautiful recitation by Sheikh Ali hudaify. The perfection of tajweed has led to a “tune” (I would highly recommend the sheikh as to someone to listen to, in order to master tajweed alongside the usual recommendations)
