There are a lot of people celebrating but Spurs have played their hand late. This managerial appointment is the most important one in the last 40 years and the next manager is walking in to an injury ridden team that is low on confidence and a fan base that is at boiling point

The fallacy within football, which runs right to the top level, is equating managerial overperformance with club suitability. Thomas Frank's job at Brentford was tremendous, but his style of play does not translate to elite level - an environment in which he has no experience.

The 11th Premier League game of the season that we have finished the game with less than 1xG. From the previous 10 we have won just 1 of them (0.6 xG vs Leeds). 3 points today, but as we've already seen these performances are not sustainable to get results.

Not that it matters now but the amount of time Spurs just pass the ball to absolutely nobody on the edge of our own area is wild. Constantly putting ourselves under pressure because nobody is willing to take responsibility, take a touch and make the right pass

I've heard so much about how Frank is so unlucky and that there is literally nothing he could do. But this is, and has been, the worst football I've watched as a Spurs fan. There is no plan beyond smash it into the channels. Our concession of the middle of the pitch is pathetic
