In the past, but it’s never been like the WNBA with teams like the Aces or the Liberty in recent years and even the Sky when they won. It just makes for a very uncompetitive league. If everything is healthy the Liberty will dog walk everyone in the playoffs including the Lynx.

Im sorry but the Liberty getting Meessaman is one of my biggest gripes of the WNBA. Theres only 2-3 real competitive teams each year due because they are stacked with so many top players while other teams like Sun or Sky have absolutely. I know NBA has had super teams.

The league needs 1 more team right now to expand for 14 and have an even 7 and 7 split conferences. The need to expand rosters to 14 players. The most important though is that the WNBA needs to figure out its ref situation cause that situation is killing the league right now.
