It’s Friday right? Let’s have pizza and watch TV

I struggled so much in my 20s but my 30s are so magical. My breakthrough years of note.Thank you God for carrying me through the losses and disappointments. I’m not even gonna say I’m glad I didn’t give up,I was blessed with the strength to carry on. I wouldn’t have done it alone.

I need a warm bath, warm Pjs, pizza, snacks and TV till late.

I’m so happy, at peace and smiling while thinking about the simplicity in my little dreams.

My Sundays look like this…

Winter will make you pause, appreciate and enjoy the warmth of the sun. I was hanging my clothes outside and I had to stay outside a bit and enjoy the sun.

I woke up with a heart full of love, happiness and gratitude. We are through the first six months of the year and I was checking my vision board and photos and I realised this was a bitter sweet first half and I could never thank God enough for protecting me and my blessings.

I’m that friend who goes home early on Fridays to eat pizza and watch movies.

Friday- swimming lessons, takeaways and a movie. Saturday- parkrun fun walk/run, mini braai and homemade mocktails. Sunday- Sunday kos, bake, go to church, laundry, and reflect… . I cannot wait for such weekends….

I’m a firm believer of changing one aspect of my life at a time, I might not be able to purchase everything all at once, but I’ll do something with what I afford.
