It’s a green light. The car in front of me is NOT driving. I start to grumble. I then hear my two year old nephew from the back say, “let’s go grandma…wait, is that my grandma”. I can confirm that kids truly do hear and remember everything 🤭🤦🏼♀️😂

Honestly, your life shouldn’t be dictated by other’s opinions. I hate that society leads us to believe we have to “please” everyone. Why can’t we just live life according to our own morals and not be concerned by how others perceive us?

A few reasons why I hate waking up to this day: My dad used to wake us up for school with either a squirt bottle, a blow-up carnival hammer, or a conch shell. What made it all worse was that he got SO much joy from it.
