Eddie Joseph was the TD Club's Touchdowner of the Year in 2000, which is given annually for extraordinary contributions and outstanding achievements reflecting honor to football. The award is similar to a Lone Star Heisman. Coach Joseph went out of his way to assist the TD Club.

Strake Jesuit's Joel Crawford won the Club's Texas Children's Hospital Football Scholar-Athlete Award, given on Wednesday. Considered a starter, Crawford was judged on academics, athletics and extra-curricular activities. He is the third Crusader to win the award in 23 years.
