If you’ve received a denial notice from the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program, you have 30 days to submit an appeal. If you need help you can reach out to our Local Partner Network appointment center to schedule time with a trusted partner who can assist you.

Don’t forget! Eviction protections were extended for individuals who submitted qualifying applications for relief on or before March 31. However, rent and utility payments must be made by the tenant beginning April 1.

CA eviction protections are now extended to 6/30 if you submit your Rent Relief application by 3/31. Remember: the program only covers rent/utility owed up to March 31. Tenants must pay rent & utilities starting 4/1. Failure to pay April rent and beyond could result in eviction.
