Y4 had a very informative time monitoring the biodiversity in Oldham town centre with @groundworkuk. The children are excited to go and observe if their bulbs are growing in February.

In Woodland school today, our Nursery children have been finding out about squirrels. We made a squirrel picture using leaves and hid acorns in the woods. It was tricky to find them again!

Y4 have explored which materials are conductors and which are insulators @pstt_whyhow. 🪵🍴 They recorded their results in a table and then used the @GreatSciShare Conclusion Creator to write a conclusion.

💡What is electricity and why is it so important? ⚡️over the past couple of weeks, Y4 have shared their pre-learning ideas using the picture stimulus. They have constructed a series circuit and have explored renewable energy and non-renewable energy sources.

We have been inspired to think as engineers today to solve real-world problems. An aspirational day for our children, gaining so much knowledge but also skills that will help them to reach their full potential with confidence. Thank you @EngEdChallenge @OfficialUoM
