Now we have a week (quite likely two) of Arctic chill with temps running 10 to 20 degrees below normal. We have a chance of hitting 0 degrees TUE or WED night, IF we can get clear/calm conditions either night.

Well, that's it folks! Official snowfall at the MU Weather Center was 5.3". At my house (Manheim Twp) I had exactly 6.0". But given the convective nature of the snow. some variability in snowfall is typical. This is the biggest snow in LanCo since Feb 1, 2021! #MWGA.

Temps have fallen to ~32. and will continue slowly downward as snowfall rates increase this afternoon. The system will exit quickly this eve. and bitter cold air will settle in for the week ahead. We won't see 32 again until next weekend (maybe). #MWGA.

4. Coldest air of the season follows the storm. Temps will hold near 20F on MON. and likely fail to reach 20° on TUE & WED. Lows TUE - THU will dip into the single digits. and possibly drop to 0° by dawn THU. #Winter2025.

2. The storm is ascending an Arctic Front, so temps will fall throughout. as winds increase from the NW Sunday PM. 3 - 6" is most likely outcome in Lanco. Wild card. convective elements that give a few spots in soPA or eastern PA up to 8". (Bust potential is sharp north edge.).

Numerous folks are asking me to post about the upcoming storm (and thanks 4 the kind comments). Here are a few summary points as I see it. 1. It's a fast-moving storm. into Lanco around 10am SUN and gone by 7pm. Heaviest between 1pm-5pm. (see below for more) #Return_of_Horst.
