AL has an active fall/winter tornado season. As we prepare to enter the Nov storm season, many rural communities are still recovering from this year's Jan 12 tornadoes. This is why we work with communities to develop long-term plans for preparedness & community resilience.
The season is a changin'. Tornadoes do occur in our part of the country during the cool season! Keep up w/ the 4cast, know your location on a map, and have a safety plan that includes a supplies kit and knowing where your quickest sheltering option is. #SevereWeatherAwarenessDay
