1/ 🏠 Earlier this month, we listed for sale our first tokenized property, The Cardinal, a $235k single family rental
It was an experiment
Do people even want to buy tokenized real estate?
We've heard about RWA on-chain since '17, but have yet to see mass adoption
4/ 💰The users who participated will begin to get their proportional net rent delivered to their Solana wallet monthly.
Homebase handles all property management and home improvements, so they don't have to.
7/ How does it work?
For each property we tokenize, we do the following:
1. Spin up an SPV to acquire the home
2. Sell NFTs that represent ownership in the SPV
3. Use the funds raised to acquire the property
4. Begin to manage the home and distribute rent monthly to holders

This presents the number of validators that would need to collude to slow down or block a blockchain from functioning properly.

The network averages around 4,000 TPS.
The Nakamoto coefficient is 30 with 1,911 validators.
Thanks to upgrades, the Solana network performs well under pressure.
