It was a very festive day at HT- Xmas jumper day and dinner. Thank you to the kitchen staff who cooked and served a delicious meal and made it a very special occasion 🎄🧑🏽‍🎄🤶

Our KS2 School council begun work on our bid to become an UNICEF Children’s Rights School. They had an informative discussion about the differences between wants and needs.

Year 5 enjoyed a special trip to Van Gogh’s house in Kennington. They had a tour of the carefully restored house where he lived for a year and took part in a workshop. Thank you to the staff at Vincent Van Gogh’s house.

Our Year 5s have been learning the violin led by Jose of LMS. Today they performed for the whole school and parents. They were very impressive and played with confidence and skill.

Year 2 had a lovely visit to The Polka Theatre to watch a performance of The Nutcracker- a story they are studying in Literacy. They had a wonderful time! 🎄

Year 6 Tiger class treated us to a fantastic assembly all about the Tudors. We learnt so much about Henry VIII and his many wives!

Year 4 had a fantastic morning in Brockwell Park exploring the plant life and wildlife. They will be returning in Spring to see the seasonal changes.

Happy Odd Sock Day! Today children and staff wore odd socks to mark Anti-bullying week and raised money for a charity promoting anti-bullying.

We had a wonderful International Day on Friday. Thank you to all the staff especially Ms Jeffrey and Mr Brooks and to all the parents and careers who supported this event. There was a fantastic feeling of celebration and unity at HT.

We celebrated the Harvest festival at Holy Trinity church this week. Thank you Mr and Mrs Sutcliffe for an interactive talk and puppet show. Our food contributions will be donated the church’s food bank.
