Thank you to everyone who stopped by the station last week to contribute. If you missed the bin at the station but still wish to donate before Thanksgiving, you can bring items directly to the Holliston Pantry Shelf on Charles Street. 🦃

Charging something big like an e-bike, scooter, or power tool with a lithium ion battery? Do it outside. Use a flat, dry area away from direct sunlight, anything wet, kids, or tripping hazards. And make sure your bike or device is secure—so it doesn’t fall while charging.

Always use the cords that came with the product to charge. Follow the instructions. Buy new chargers from the mfg or one that the mfg has approved. Charge your device on a hard surface. Don’t overcharge your device. Unplug it or remove the battery when it’s fully charged.

Drills are a critical part of our safety plan. Practicing evacuations helps students and staff develop muscle memory and equip everyone with clear response options so they know exactly what to do in the event of an actual emergency. Thank you to everyone for participating.

Our crews responded to a concerning outside fire today, right by a business entrance. This incident underscores a vital message: every individual plays a role in preventing fires. Always, ALWAYS fully extinguish and properly dispose of cigarettes and other smoking materials.
