For me if a story isn’t doing well it should be the company taking the loss. Like, if the manhwa wasn’t selling well or whatever let the artist finish it and for their next project then set a shorter limit but don’t come mess things when the story is already ongoing…

They limit the amount of episodes and rush them to cut out so much of what they originally planned. What’s the point of hiring artists to create stories if you’re gonna restrict them like that? At least let them know from the start so they can plan a story that fits those limits

I was… excited… for this new release. Omegaverse, flirty omega, omega x beta, beautiful art style, a calm and wholesome story but reading this really makes me wonder if it’s even worth continuing? It’s kind of disappointing seeing this happen to so many artists

I found Lily’s alt account and for a sec I thought someone was tracing her art/ copying her art style (I was literally this doggie) but it was actually her being a fan!! I love seeing authors being fans too!!!

I’m cutting down on new reads this month and pausing a few manhwas. Luckily I’ve got around 15,000 coins saved up but I usually spend about 6,500 a month…

but if those illegal sites keep giving authors work away for free while you just raise prices for those of us who actually respect the manhwa industry it’s hard to see a future for the platforms and for our hobby.

This is honestly disappointing and I really hope the decisions they’re making will benefit us consumers too. Maybe if they focused more on fighting piracy, they’d have fewer losses

The reason I read on @LezhinComics_US is basically because of the VIPs, fixed monthly money without having to recharge every week. Plus the bonus coins last long enough to actually enjoy your reads without having to rush to spend them in 3 days, 7 days or whatever.

And I’m guessing we won’t even be able to subscribe to multiple offers either they’ll probably limit it to just one VIP or maybe two at most…

They’re gonna make us subscribe to shitty bundles for a couple of useless perks that won’t benefit us at all… I wanna stay positive but honestly I don’t see anything good about this. It was nice while it lasted I guess. We always end up paying for their losses anyway…
Not to be the bearer of bad news but @ksjfeatepiphany just informed me that all current Lezhin VIP memberships will be discontinued 🫠 That is, if I'm understanding this correctly.
